Take Action on Radon (TAOR) is a national initiative, funded by Health Canada, dedicated to raising awareness about radon gas across Canada.

TAOR works to bring together experts, advocates, policymakers, and concerned citizens to work together to reduce radon levels in homes across the country and ultimately reduce cancer risk.

The Canadian Cancer Society (CCS) is dedicated to saving lives and preventing cancer across Canada. Through a multifaceted approach that encompasses research, education, advocacy, policy, cancer prevention, and support, CCS works tirelessly to reduce the burden of cancer on individuals, families, and communities.

CCS has key initiatives in cancer prevention including raising awareness about modifiable risk factors, such as tobacco use, sun safety, exposure to radon, and other lifestyle factors. By addressing root causes of cancer and promoting proactive measures to reduce risk, CCS is leading the charge in creating a future where cancer is less prevalent and more manageable. CCS empowers Canadians to take control of their health and minimize their risk of cancer.

CARST is a national association that brings together individuals and organizations who recognize the need and are driven to help Canadians with reducing their radon exposure and preventing lung cancer from radon. We provide a place where Canadians can find help in understanding, and reducing their risk from radon. We provide our members with access to radon relevant resources, opportunities to learn more about radon research and standards, and connect with other stakeholders to promote opportunities to work together to increase radon awareness and improve standards across the country.
